I believe in God, the Father Almighty, 我信上帝，全能的父
the Maker of heaven and earth, 創造天地的主
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: 我信耶穌基督，上帝的獨生子，我們的主；

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost(有作Spirit),
born of the virgin Mary, 因著聖靈成孕，從童女馬利亞所生
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell (有作the dead).
在本丟彼拉多手下遇難，被釘在十字架上，死了，葬了； 下到陰間；

The third day He arose again (from the dead);
He ascended into heaven,
第三天從死裏復活；後升天，
and seated on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
坐在無所不能的父上帝的右 邊；將來要從那裏降臨，審判活人、死人。

I believe in the Holy Spirit; 我信聖靈；
the holy catholic church; 一聖基督教會，
the communion of saints; 聖徒相通
the forgiveness of sins; 罪的赦免
the resurrection of the body; 肉身復活；
and the life everlasting. 並且永生
